Private Access Psychiatry
A private invitation to concierge care
Thank you for your inquiry about concierge care with Dr. Edwards, MD. This invitation explains the thoughtful, individualized access and materials that may be available after consultation, mutual agreement, and enrollment.
What concierge care is designed to provide
Concierge care is an annual retainer relationship built around enduring, individualized physician access. It is intended for people who value a more direct, thoughtful connection with their psychiatrist alongside scheduled clinical care.
It is not an emergency service, a guarantee of immediate availability, or a replacement for 911, an emergency department, or crisis services. Dr. Edwards may be in appointments, attending to personal responsibilities, or otherwise unavailable, and will respond when reasonably able.
A private, curated care library
Your care may include clinician-selected materials that are released based on your needs, goals, age group, and treatment plan. These can include AOD lessons and weekly practice plans, guides, readings, media resources, and other clinically appropriate supplemental materials.
Materials are individualized rather than automatically assigned. The library grows with your care and is available through the private patient portal when released by your clinician.
Private outreach access
After enrollment and clinician release, concierge-level patients may receive private text and email access for respectful, responsible, non-emergent concerns. These channels are private clinical communication spaces and are not connected to, or a pathway to, any personal or social-media account.
To make text communication efficient and helpful, every message should begin with your full name and a brief statement of what you need. Include only the essential context, name any time-sensitive concern, and keep messages focused on one clear question or update whenever possible.
Please do not expect an immediate reply. Repeated disrespectful, excessive, threatening, or inappropriate use may result in a phone number or email address being blocked from this private communication space. For an emergency or immediate safety concern, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
Annual retainer and family policy
The annual individual concierge retainer is $25,000. A family concierge retainer is $50,000 for a family unit of up to five people.
Family enrollment is designed to support one genuine family unit: people who live together or who have a parent-child relationship. It is not intended to extend complimentary access to extended relatives or separate households; for example, a cousin cannot be added to a family retainer at no additional cost.
Retainer availability, fit, and the appropriate next step are discussed after a private consultation or evaluation and mutual agreement. For minors, guardian agreement is required. If you choose to move forward, your clinician will explain enrollment, release timing for private materials, and the communication boundaries that support safe, respectful care.
