Welcome to your care journey
You are about to start a new part of your care with Dr. Edwards. This is a place to talk about what is going well, what feels hard, and what you want help with.
You will get to try activities that make coping skills easier to remember—short stories, drawing, music, favorite characters, movement, and simple real-life challenges. We may give a skill a memorable name so it is easier to use when you need it.
Sometimes a film moment, song, or short reading can help an idea stick. Your Behavioral Health Rx materials are chosen just for your care plan. You can explore each available piece when you are ready.
If medicine is part of the conversation, you will get clear handouts written for your level. They explain what a medicine is for, what you might notice, and what questions you can ask.
You are in control of your pace. We will agree on what each visit is for before it happens. That could be a shorter medication check-in, a skills session, or a mix that fits what you need right then.
