Clinician-approved local pharmacy

When clinically appropriate, Dr. Edwards may identify a licensed local pharmacy based on medication availability, location, and the patient’s treatment plan. Do not use compounded products unless specifically discussed and approved by Dr. Edwards.

Laboratory and mobile draw resources

Getlabs

Mobile phlebotomy service with at-home collection in select California areas. A valid order is required. Confirm service area, specimen requirements, fasting instructions, fees, and collection timing before scheduling.

Laboratory-directed mobile collection

Some laboratories coordinate mobile collection through approved vendors. Eligibility depends on the ordered tests, location, and laboratory requirements. The office can confirm order-specific options after Dr. Edwards issues the order.

Required safeguards

Use only after Dr. Edwards has completed an individualized evaluation and documented the treatment plan.
Follow the prescribed monitoring plan and complete ordered laboratory testing on schedule.
Confirm medication storage, delivery timing, and identity requirements directly with the pharmacy.
Contact the practice promptly for significant side effects, medication concerns, or changes in health status. For emergencies, call 911.
